A personal letter

I believe that beauty isn’t just what’s on the surface—it’s the feeling you get when you connect with your innermost self.

Hello, check-in, and since it's been a while, let me give you a brief update. I hope you enjoyed and began your Beauty Ritual Workbook; if you wish to download it, click here (link to workbook download)

Life has been a roller coaster ride for me this year, with lots of awakenings, purpose, and self-love. As a makeup artist and wellness advocate, I've been in the beauty industry for a while. I've seen "beauty trends" come and go, but these trends are getting more toxic and challenging than ever. I struggle with my feelings for beauty culture. What happened to the creativity of artists and the art of makeup storytelling? Everything nowadays is solely for the purpose of consumerism.

I've decided to continue working in the beauty industry; my contribution will be creating content that supports self-acceptance, self-love, and space for beauty positivity. A multidisciplinary storytelling approach in which I highlight women from all walks of life as my muses and combine inner and outer beauty as one.

This month, search for ways to step out and rise by shining light on things that are important to you. If you have to pivot, change course, or let something go to bring something even better in, you will have started, and from there, you may continue layering your beautiful foundation.

Focus on illuminating the light within you and letting go of anything that no longer serves you or your purpose.

Have a peaceful, joyful November

I can’t wait to share more discoveries, updates, and stories with you!

XO Elizabeth
